Its no doubt why they purposely let you hear words when they're abt to leave the class. Its purposely for you to hear! i have to admit its rude but you deserved it!

I have been told he went on with another girl. After the incident i think its another 2 girls that received the same fate. Owh well, its her fault for not listening, she can blame no one.
